Corrections and Updates

We aim to get things right. When we make mistakes we correct them promptly and transparently. Corrections restore accuracy while keeping a clear public record of what changed.

What we do

  • Minor clarifications are edited in place and noted where necessary.
  • A factual correction is published with a short correction note and the date it was made.
  • Significant errors or removals follow an internal review and are handled according to the severity of the issue.
  • Retractions are used only when a story's core facts are proven false or harmful.

How to request a correction

Write to [email protected]. Include the article link, the line or paragraph concerned, and what you believe the correct information to be. We acknowledge every report. Editors assess the claim, verify the information, and publish a correction where one is needed.

What we record internally

Editors record the nature of the error, the steps taken to verify it, who approved the action, and the final outcome. These records are reviewed monthly.

How corrections appear

A correction reads: “Correction: An earlier version of this story misstated [the fact]. The correct information is [the correction]. We regret the error. Updated [date and time].”

A clarification reads: “Clarification: We have clarified [the point]. No core facts were changed. Updated [date and time].”

A withdrawn article reads: “This article has been withdrawn because the central claim is no longer supported by verified evidence.”
